What does Be Ready do for you?

We will help guide you through the entire admissions process! You will have your SCC fall schedule before you graduate high school!

 

Steps to Be Ready:

Your school's designated SCC representative will come to your high school and help you complete the online SCC application.

You will travel to SCC and participate in an orientation designed to get students familiar with SCC's campus. 

SCC staff will come to the high school to proctor the ACCUPLACER standardized placement test(s). These are designed to insure you are placed in the correct course level for your first semester.

We will come to your high school and meet one-on-one to get you registered for the upcoming fall semester.

Our recruitment team will come to your high school and meet one-on-one to get you registered for the upcoming fall semester (summer if you wish) before you graduate high school.

Get the classes you need at times you want!

By getting early access to classes it is more likely for you to have a schedule that best fits your life.  We will use your placment scores to determine what English, Math, and Reading classes you are elgible to take your first semester. You will become familiar with SCC staff that are a resource for you on campus.
