St. Charles Community College is committed to providing everyone with a welcoming and accessible campus. Our goal is to ensure individuals with disabilities enjoy reasonable access to services and resources required by the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and other applicable federal and state regulations.

Accessibility for Campus Guests

St. Charles Community College strives to provide reasonable accommodations to all people at any SCC-sponsored event. Please contact Disability Support Services at dss@stchas.edu or 636-922-8581 as early as possible to discuss your needs.

Limited accessible seating is available in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building (FAB) and in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building (SSB).

Accessible parking is located on campus. Accessible parking is handled through the Department of Public Safety (DPS) – 636-922-8545. Only those vehicles with a state issued disabled plates or hang tags can park in ADA designated parking spaces.

All restrooms are fully accessible.

Accessibility for Potential Employees

Job applicants with a disability that can be reasonably accommodated without creating an undue hardship or causing a direct threat to workplace safety will be given the same consideration for employment as any other applicants.

Job applicants requesting accommodations should contact the Vice President for Human Resources at 636-922-8300.

Website Accessibility

We strive to ensure the SCC website is fully accessible to all users and that it is compliant with SCC policies and federal regulations, including compatibly with screen readers and other assistive technologies. This process is ongoing and it is possible that some users may encounter problems accessing some web pages. Let us know and we’ll address the issue as quickly as possible.

For accessibility questions about the website, contact Harry Morris, website specialist, at 636-922-8475 or hmorris@stchas.edu.
