The Basic Life Support Provider Course (BLS) course is intended for current healthcare providers or those who are planning to work in healthcare. This type of CPR is required for students entering St. Charles Community College’s RN, PN, OTA, and MA programs.

St. Charles Community College offers only the skills evaluation test related to this certification. The cognitive portion of the course (Heartcode BLS) is completed online through the American Heart Association (AHA) at https://elearning.heart.org/ (a fee of $34 will be assessed by the AHA for that portion of the course). Students MUST present the printed completion certificate from the online course when they arrive to class. Students who do not have the certificate or who have not completed the online cognitive portion will not be allowed to stay in class.

Tuition will be due within one business day of your registration being processed. Individualized information will be communicated during the enrollment process.

This is a non-credit, certificate course. Tuition is due at time of registration and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
