Eligible to Learn Scholarship

Deadline: July 31, 2016

Award Amount: Two $1,250 scholarships awarded each Fall and Spring

Awards will be given based on the following criteria:

The essay should fully answer the question: "How has your physical disability positively affected the pursuit of your academic or professional goals?"

A panel of judges will review the applications. Essays will be judged on the following criteria:

• Submissions must be 500 – 1000 words
• Applicants must follow the essay prompt
• Applicants should discuss no less than 1 and no more than 3 personal/professional goal(s)

Winners will each receive a one-time scholarship check of $1,250 to be used for future educational expenses.

To be eligible for this scholarship award, applicants must be:

• Permanent U.S. Resident
• Enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited higher education program by the fall semester of 2016
• Have a physical disability as defined under the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA)
