An Associate of Arts degree is meant to be transferred toward an advanced degree at a four-year institution.

Computer and information scientists conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers or inventors. They solve or develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware or software.

Starting offers averaged $58,000 for graduates with a bachelor's degree in computer science.

*Social and Behavioral Sciences: Complete one Civics Course (HIS 101, HIS 102 or POL 101) and a minimum of 6 additional credits from at least 2 disciplines.

** Humanities and Fine Arts: Complete nine credit hours from at least 2 disciplines.

*** Natural Sciences: Complete a minimum of 7 credit hours from at least 2 disciplines, including one course with a lab component.

Check with transfer institution for foreign language requirement.  A Bachelor of Arts Degree may require 3 semesters of the same foreign language.  A Bachelor of Science does not usually require foreign language.
