Young People's Theatre is an integral part of the programming for SCC's Performing Arts Department. We value the opportunity to bring quality arts education to the youth in our community. We know that experiences in the arts develop self-confidence, creative thinking, and collaborative teamwork.
Young People's Theatre (YPT)
For more than 30 years, YPT has built a reputation as one of the leading youth theater programs in the region. Kids ages 8-18 can learn all aspects of theater through classes and participation in live theater productions.

YPT Parent Information
Parent participation is vital to the success of YPT and is a requirement for YPT membership. Rules and Regulations available at the audition.
Rehearsal Times:
- 6-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays
- 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays
- Additional daily rehearsals in the two weeks prior to each production.
Volunteers
Young People’s Theatre strives to educate in all facets of theatre, including technical theatre. If you would like to volunteer to help with the technical aspects of our productions, please email Artistic Director, Samantha Stavely at sstavely@stchas.edu.
