Congrats 2020 Grads

While we weren't able to celebrate our 2020 graduates in person this year, we couldn't be more proud of our students. They met the challenges that came with this semester and persisted to complete their degrees.

Nearly 40 Foundation scholarship recipients were among the graduates. Because of your generous contributions to the SCC Foundation's scholarship program, these students were able to live out their dreams of getting a college education. Thank you for your continued support of student success!

Alexis was one of those students. In May, she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree, and plans to transfer to the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the fall. Like many students, Alexis used her time at SCC to explore her options. After considering many different careers, she finally found her passion in elementary education.

She was a model student and could often be found giving tours on campus to prospective students.

"I'm so thankful for the opportunities St. Charles Community College gave me as I figured out what I wanted to do in life," she said. "The SCC Foundation scholarship made a big difference, and I'm very grateful."
