Get ready to join the movement of generous people everywhere on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving for a special day of giving to your favorite cause – St. Charles Community College!

In the midst of holiday shopping, #GivingTuesday on November 30, 2021 is a reminder that this is also a time of year to give back to the community.

Every gift to the SCC Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, makes a difference to our students.

YOUR GIFT MATTERS

From Nov. 1-Nov. 30, alumni and friends may make a #GivingTuesday gift online to support students. By giving to SCC, either unrestricted or to your department of choice, you can make an impact and help the college to be the best it can be for others, including your friends, neighbors and children.

There’s never been a better time to give. The first $10,000 in gifts to SCC departments will be matched by the SCC Foundation.

PROMOTE THE CAUSE

#GivingTuesday is a great opportunity to let others know why it is good to give to SCC. Below are some ways to help spread the word. We encourage you to use these free tools.

1. Post messages on social media – See ideas:

* You can give the gift of education on #GivingTuesday. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, consider giving back to your community by making a gift online to St. Charles Community College. #GiveToSCC www.stchas.edu/givingtuesday.

* Every student deserves a quality education. Join me and #GiveToSCC on #GivingTuesday.

* I plan to #GiveToSCC on #GivingTuesday because ____ (the faculty and staff helped me realize my dream) (it was there where I was able to turn my passion into a career)

Specific to program or department:

* I plan to #GiveToSCC on #GivingTuesday to support ___ (Performing Arts, Science, Athletics, etc.)

* Please #GiveToSCC to support SCC’s Division of Nursing and Allied Health this #GivingTuesday because they helped me realize my dream of becoming a nurse.
