What is the Diversity, C.S.?

The Diversity Certificate of Specialization is an academic certificate that provides students with a means of demonstrating that they consciously pursued diversity studies while completing their degrees. Universities and employers are avidly seeking students and employees with a desire to excel in multicultural and diverse paradigms.

This Missouri Department of Higher Education-approved certificate offers students the opportunity to demonstrate that they have completed extensive scholarship related to gender, race, age, abilities, and cultural studies while completing their general education.

96%
Ninety-six percent of employers surveyed said it is important or very important to have employees who are comfortable working with colleagues, customers and/or clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
