Presidents Classic Golf Scramble raises nearly $57,000

The St. Charles Community College Foundation raised nearly $57,000 at its 22nd annual Presidents Classic Golf Scramble on Sept 24. Proceeds will support scholarships as well as academic and program enhancements for the college.

“Because of the generous support we receive from wonderful people in our community, many students are able to pursue their dreams of getting a college education,” said Betsy Schneider, executive director of the SCC Foundation.

Richard Jensen, CEO of Rx Systems, Inc., and Chuck Pilliod, CFO of Krey Distributing Company, were co-chairs of the planning committee for this year’s golf scramble.

“We have many to thank for their help in making this one of the most successful golf tournaments to-date,” Jensen said. “We appreciate everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored or purchased raffle tickets.”  

Rx Systems, Inc. was the “Presenting” sponsor. First State Bank was the “Eagle” sponsor. Botz, Deal, & Company, P.C. was the “Birdie” sponsor. “Par” sponsors included Acropolis Investment Management, LLC, Al Wansing- State Farm Insurance, Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles, Barnes Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals, Cintas Corporation, Commerce Bank, Fred Weber, Inc., Fireside Financial, McClay Senior Care, Mercy, Missouri General Insurance, Modern Business Interiors, NHC HealthCare, Prados, Roasted Coffee and Wine Bar, UPS and Warrenton Oil Co./ Fastlane Convenience Stores.
