Rachel Brown will perform music in Scooter’s Place in the Student Center. Rachel is a pop, Caribbean, Hawaiian, country and hip-hop artist out of New York City.

“Dear White People” Film Showing
6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11
Winner of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival's Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent, Dear White People is a sly, provocative satire of race relations in the age of Obama. In this sharp and funny feature film, writer/director Justin Simien follows a group of African-American students as they navigate campus life and racial politics at a predominantly white college.

Terrell Carter Lecture
1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23
Terrell Carter, author of “Walking the Blue Line: A Police Officer Turned Activist Provides Solutions to the Racial Divide,” will speak about his book and experiences at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in the SSB auditorium.
