Published: 04/09/2012
Approximately one in four St. Charles County high school students choose to enroll at SCC each year. To read some of SCC’s success stories, visit www.stchas.edu/mystory.
Registration information is available at www.stchas.edu/connect or by calling 636-922-8000.
Students may choose from general education/transfer programs and career/technical programs. In addition to traditional classes, a variety of late-start, distance learning, telecourses, teleweb and online classes are available.
“The benefits of attending SCC include learning from dedicated and experienced faculty, as well as a variety of academic support services such as counseling and advising, accessibility services, a tutoring center and a Child Development Center,” said Chris Breitmeyer, interim vice president of academic and student affairs. “Also, a number of opportunities for connecting with other students through clubs, sports and cultural and recreational programs are available.”
Summer registration will continue through June 1 and fall registration will continue through Aug. 18.
SCC’s classes are among the lowest cost in Missouri, at $90 per credit hour for in-district students, $135 for out-of-district, in-state students and $203 for out-of-state and international students.
Established in 1986, St. Charles Community College is celebrating 25 years as a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities. For more information, visit www.stchas.edu.
