Make Payment

Welcome to Student Accounts, formerly known as the Cashier’s Office. We are here to help you access information about your student account and securely pay for your tuition.

New Feature – Student Finance Self Service

The Student Finance functionality is your go to place to access information about your tuition/fee charges, anticipated/transmitted financial aid, and much more. It’s also the place to make payments online or set up a payment plan offered by Nelnet Campus Commerce.

To access Student Finance, log in to your portal ( and choose Student Self Service under SCC Connection.

What can you view in Self Service?

  • Semester account balance summary
  • Details of your registration charges
  • List of courses related to your registration activity
  • Information about payments and refunds
  • Anticipated and/or transmitted financial aid
  • Statements of your account
  • Information about your Forms 1098-T

If you don’t want to pay online, here’s some other payment options.

Pay by Mail

We ask that you please pay by check. Please do not send cash (for your protection)! Make checks payable to St. Charles Community College.

Please write your student ID number on your check. If the name on the check is different than the student name, make sure you write the student's name on it, too.

Checks must include an imprinted name and include a phone number with area code. Sorry, we can't accept bank starter checks. No two-party checks, either.

Checks must be for the exact amount and must be received by the Cashier's Office by the announced deadline.

Your canceled check is your receipt.

Paying in Person

If you’d like to pay in person, it’s the same process as paying by mail, except we get to see you face to face. Just bring your check to the Student Account’s office or deposit in the drop box next to it.

In this case, we do accept cash. However, we only accept it if you're paying in person.

You can also pay by credit card – we take Visa, MasterCard, and Discover!

Third Party Registration and Payment

Registering for or making a payment for a student? You'll need to be listed on an Authorization for Third Party Registration and Payments form completed by the student.

You can also pick one up in the Enrollment Services or Academic Counseling offices!

Change of Address

Any change of address that changes your residency rates must be submitted before the first day of class during the semester the change takes place.

You'll need to show proof of residency with the address change information!
