Published: 04/02/2012

The SCC Office of Marketing and Communications took home the following awards: a Silver Paragon for a photo of the cast of “Piece of My Heart” and a Bronze Paragon for a poster of "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead," both for the college’s Center Stage Theatre productions.

“These are the most prestigious awards for community college marketing and public relations professionals,” said Heather McDorman, vice president for marketing and communications. “We’re fortunate to have such top-level talent here at SCC.”

The awards were announced at the annual NCMPR national conference in San Francisco in March. NCMPR has more than 1,550 members from more than 650 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries.

Established in 1986, St. Charles Community College is celebrating 25 years as a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields.
