Our Services

We help you design surveys that gather meaningful feedback whether it’s for program evaluation, student satisfaction, or faculty engagement. We also provide support with sampling methods, question design, and analysis.

We use SAS to pull and analyze data from our systems. It helps us create different types of reports like summaries, trends, and comparisons—that support everyday operations and planning across departments. If you’re using the SAS WebApp and run into issues with a report or program, our team is here to help troubleshoot and debug it to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Need data for a report or presentation? We provide extracts from institutional databases and help you interpret the results. Whether it’s enrollment trends or course success rates, we’ll help you make sense of the numbers.

Starting a new project and unsure what data you need? We’ll work with you to define and refine the data elements that will support your goals.

If you’re transitioning from older reporting tools, we can help migrate your reports to SAS, ensuring accuracy and continuity.

Conducting research involving human subjects? We offer guidance on Research Approval Committee (RAC) processes, ethical considerations, and compliance with federal regulations.

We host workshops and training sessions to build data literacy across campus. These sessions cover everything from creating dashboards to understanding key metrics.

We work with departments to align business processes with data systems, ensuring that the data you see reflects what’s actually happening on the ground.

SCC's Research Approval Committee

In order to ensure the safety of human subjects of research conducted at St. Charles Community College (SCC), the Research Approval Committee (RAC) encourages and supports the scholarly endeavors of students, faculty and staff while striving to enforce best research practices. The RAC also strives to ensure that research conducted at SCC, or with SCC faculty, staff, and or students; or by SCC faculty, staff, and students adhere to ethical research guidelines.

*The Research Approval Committee (RAC) link won't work unless you are SCC faculty/staff. External parties that are interested in performing research as SCC or with SCC staff/students should contact research@stchas.edu.
