St. Charles Community College is seeking part-time, project based resources to support various Workforce Development initiatives within their service area. These resources would include individuals who have experience in areas to include but not be limited to:

Manufacturing Trainer/Facilitator(s) to provide training and training related services for various business and industry partners. Seeking individuals experienced in facilitating manufacturing type training and training related activities to include but not be limited to:

  • Technical Manufacturing Training Skills Topics such as Welding, Maintenance, or Machining
  • Computer Training:  MS Office – Project, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; programming and/or computer aided graphics experience (CAD).
  • Leadership & Supervision: succession planning, coaching, communication, team building, organizational skills and other related topics.
  • Quality/Lean Topics
  • Federal and Local Regulations and Safety Standards

Formal training certification a plus (i.e. DDI, AchieveGlobal, OSHA, Six Sigma)

Manufacturing Technical Writer and Instructional Designer(s) to develop documentation product instructions, reference information, and/or maintenance manuals. The writer/designer would work closely with subject matter experts in a manufacturing setting to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of content. Experience developing and implementing online training and training related resources a plus.
