Basic life insurance (equivalent to your annual salary) is required coverage, with reduced coverage beginning at age 65. Eligible the first day of full-time employment. Voluntary Life Insurance coverage is available on the first of the month following 45 days of full-time employment. Additional coverage for spouse and dependent children can also be purchased. Rates are based on amount of coverage, age and tobacco use.

Summer Sick Time Accrual: One additional day is accrued for teaching during June and/or July, with a maximum additional accrual of two days.
Three personal days per fiscal year are credited to current full-time faculty at the beginning of the academic year. A prorated number of personal days apply for full-time faculty beginning employment after the start of the academic year.
