Dear Faculty and Staff:

I am pleased to announce that our next All College Day is scheduled on Friday, February 15.  We will have two sessions:

We are asking faculty to attend the morning session.  Registration/continental breakfast will be from 8:30-9:00.  The program will run from 9:00-11:30.

We request that staff attend the afternoon session.  Registration/refreshments will be served from 1:00-1:30 with the program beginning at 1:30 and ending at 4:00.

The two sessions will provide the same information; however, to ensure sufficient space in the SSB auditorium, we are asking that you adhere to this schedule.  If you have a conflict with your scheduled time, please let Julie know. We are excited about the theme for this event.  Our focus will be on current trends that are shaping the landscape of higher education.  In addition to the normal college updates, we will host a panel of distinguished guests from national organizations that are at the forefront of higher education technology, innovation, and student retention and success. I look forward to seeing you on February 15.

Last Friday we hosted our annual Legislative Coffee.  This was a wonderful opportunity to share updates with key community leaders and state representatives. 

 

As of yesterday, our enrollment numbers show a decline of only 1.8% which is almost aligned with our budget projections.  Unfortunately, many of the other community colleges in the state are experiencing significant enrollment decline this spring.  We owe much appreciation to the good efforts of all our staff involved in registration processes.
