We may not live in Hollywood, but we can still appreciate fine cinematography and riveting performances. SCC plans a number of film events for our community, and we hope you’ll drop by to have fun and show your support.
Spice up your Friday night! The Food Truck Frolic is held in the college’s blue parking lot from 5:30-8 p.m., and the movies will begin at sundown on Fridays on the lawn outside the Technology Building. Free parking is available in the orange lot at the SCC North Entrance located on Mid Rivers Mall Dr.
Satisfy your inner film critic and witness the budding talents of area high school and SCC students at the eighth annual SCC Student Film Festival. Awards program and screening will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building (SSB) auditorium. For eligibility, film categories and submission guidelines, download the entry form. All entries are due by 5 p.m. on March 26, 2018.

Don’t be frightened, come to SCC’s annual Scary Movie Marathon held in late October, hosted by the SCC Student Activities Office. A different movie will be shown each night, Monday through Thursday, and guest speakers will precede each movie. Free popcorn is always a plus (and a must)!
SCC faculty and staff screen feature films and preface them with an overview of their impact and import. Admission is free and titillating post-screening conversations are optional.
