On Monday, June 15, Dr. Koehler, Mark King, and Dr. Kavalier participated in a facility tour and leadership meeting with O’Fallon Casting, the world’s leading manufacturer of investment-cast aluminum/silicon carbide metal matrix composite (MMC) components.
The company serves commercial, governmental, aerospace, and defense sectors and has expressed interest in partnering with SCC to provide workforce training in welding, machining, metallurgy, and computer-aided design (CAD). This presents an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our industry partnerships and workforce development initiatives.
