We were proud to host the Show-Me SCIENCE Competition, the first Missouri Statewide
Science Fair, on campus, and the energy was incredible. The event featured 215 students
from 58 schools competing in science, engineering, and invention.
• Over $34,000 in awards presented
• Top four overall winners are advancing to the Regeneron International Science and
Engineering Fair
• SCC is sponsoring two student groups to attend the GENIUS Olympiad
We were also honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger to the event to
help Dr. Barbara Kavalier and Dr. Amy Koehler celebrate these brilliant young minds.
SCC can’t wait to host the Show-Me SCIENCE Competition again in April 2027.
