Students may choose from general education/transfer programs and career/technical programs. In addition to traditional classes, a variety of late-start, distance learning, telecourses, teleweb and online classes are available.
“SCC is a smart choice for students,” said Chris Breitmeyer, vice president for academic and student affairs. “They get a quality education, and there are a lot of options, whether they plan to transfer or enter the job market.”
Students may take advantage of counseling/advising, a tutoring center and a number of ways to get involved, including clubs, sports and multicultural events.
Fall registration will continue through Aug. 6 with all fees due by 7 p.m. that evening. Registration re-opens Aug. 9-17. Classes begin Saturday, Aug. 18.
The cost of classes is $90 per credit hour for in-district students, $135 for out-of-district, in-state students and $203 for out-of-state and international students.
Established in 1986, St. Charles Community College is celebrating 25 years as a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields.
