“SCC Speaks Freely…”, an on-campus forum for students to come together and discuss timely topics, is scheduled for 10:00 to 11:15 on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The program will be held in the CC Rotunda and donuts will be provided! This month’s discussion with be about the #MeToo Movement. Leading the discussion on the origins of the #MeToo Movement, the impact the movement is having on our society and student response to the movement in our political and entertainment worlds will be SCC’s own Chief Diversity Officer and Title IX Coordinator, Sylvia Edgar, Shannon Nicholson from the YWCA Metro St. Louis Women’s Resource Center, Dr. Mitch Hardin, Assistant Professor in Psychology and Jonathan Hunn, SCC Counselor .
