ACCOUNTING (BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION)

Accounting skills are completely portable into any profession! Students acquire analytic, technical and problem-solving skills. They will learn about payroll, taxes, corporate and personal finances. Available degrees are: A.A. and A.A.S., plus Certificates of Achievement and Specialization.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (GENERAL)

An A.A. and A.A.S. in business administration will provide students with broad business training. Students will gain skills in marketing, accounting and management and will also have the chance to customize coursework to match their specific interests. In addition, students will develop critical thinking, communication and analytic skills. The A.A. is designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution. The A.A.S. is available for students wishing to transfer or enter the workforce immediately, and Certificates of Achievement and Specialty are available to anyone wishing to improve skill sets at a current job.

The finance concentration offers students a broad introduction to the world of finance. Students will learn about our economic systems, develop accounting knowledge and learn about corporate finance, monetary systems and financial markets.
