Human Trafficking and Challenges Facing Anti-Human Trafficking Professionals – (Part 2)
Gain understanding and knowledge of sex and labor trafficking, understand the prevalence and pervasiveness of human trafficking in the St Louis Metropolitan area specifically as it relates to minors and types of exploitation. This session will identify vulnerabilities that traffickers exploit to recruit and traffic persons, recognize the role and impact that technology has in this process including manipulative strategies, and review the eligibility requirements for these three forms of immigration relief (T Visa, U Visa, and Continued Presence). Lastly, the lecture shall explain the role of law enforcement in providing evidence to support T and U visas through certifications.
