Maybe you don't have it all figured out, don't yet know what you want to major in. Or maybe you know exactly what you want, and that includes saving money on tuition (gobs of it).
Many students – in fact, a full 80% of our students – complete their first two years at SCC, then transfer to a four-year university to finish their Bachelor's Degree.
It's a wise course to take.
If you're planning to transfer, you'll need to get acquainted with your new BFF, your SCC Transfer Counselor. He or she will work closely with you to make transferring a smooth, seamless process.
To make sure your credits transfer, you have to do some research, starting with transfer guides. You'll find a handy list of links to about 200 Missouri and Illinois four-year colleges and universities here. Get a transfer guide from the ones you're interested in.
Many college and university reps visit SCC to speak with students who are interested in four-year degrees. Find out which colleges are coming to SCC by checking SCC Events Calendar. Or visit the College Transfer Bulletin Board in the Administration Building, outside of Room 1204.
