Dear Faculty and Staff:
I hope that you and your family enjoyed a nice long weekend.
After working with members of the campus community and leaders in the local area, it is now my privilege to share information on the new President’s Council on Race and Diversity.
The purpose of the newly formed Council is to bring together key community leaders with faculty, staff, and student representatives to discuss how St. Charles Community College can advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. As an advisory group to the President, the Council will identify possible strategies, policies, and procedures that may eliminate barriers to racial equity and diversity, while helping make SCC a more welcoming campus culture and community.
