Jean Ehlmann
Jean Ehlmann was elected to a six-year term on the St. Charles Community College Board of Trustees in April 2018. Holding the office since 1994, Ehlmann has served as Board President (2000-2002, 2008-2010), Board Vice President (1998-2000, 2002-2006), Board Treasurer (1996-1998), and Board Secretary (2006-2008) and has seen the college through three of its expansion phases.
Ehlmann is a retired history and government teacher from St. Charles High School with a bachelor's degree in history from Lindenwood University and a master's degree in education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
One of her priorities has been to respond to college enrollment trends and meet students' academic needs. "SCC must be accountable to the students and community by ensuring that its general education classes are transferable and its career-technical programs are meeting job market demands," Ehlmann said. "I want to ensure that SCC meets the future educational needs of St. Charles County."
