Article IV.04 Terms of Employment Policy (effective July 1, 2021)

Unless otherwise specified by the St. Charles Community College Board of Trustees, all employees of the College are considered "at-will" employees. In such an "at-will" employment relationship, either the employee or employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. No supervisor or other representative of the College has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the above, except as approved by the Board of Trustees. Upon hire, employees shall be classified in accordance with Administrative Procedures.
