Your quizzes and tests are listed. The "Availability" field tells you when you can take the test and how long you have.

The "Duration" field shows you how long you have to complete the test once you open it (if your instructor placed a time limit on your test). A clock in the top right corner of the quiz window will appear when you start the test.

Your "Grade" is listed if your instructor has released your score.

The "Attempts" field tells you how many times you have taken and can take the test.

To access the test, click on its title. I clicked on "Chapter 10,11,12" for this example.

The first time you take a WebCT quiz, you might want to print the page for reference as you go along.

When you're ready to start, click on the Begin quiz button.

Questions can be multiple choice, short answer, essay, matching or calculated. After you've answered, and you're happy with your answer, click on the Save answer button.

You can click the Save answer button more than once in order to change your answer.

The question status box keeps you up to date on which questions you have answered and which questions still need to be saved.

Double check that you've saved all answers before you submit your test. Unsaved answers are graded as though they weren't answered.

When you have saved all of your answers, click on the Finish button.

Once you click the finish button you can no longer change your answers.

Click OK.

You should receive the Success statement.

Click on the View results button to see if your score is available. If it's not available, your instructor hasn't yet released your grade.

On the View Results page, your name is in the upper left corner. Your instructor may want you to print this page and bring it to class.

Your responses are listed, and sometimes you will receive feedback on your answers. Feedback can be very helpful if you have the opportunity to take the test more than once.

You've completed the test, and scores are now listed for the "Chapter 10, 11,12" quiz.

To retrieve your View Results page at a later date, click on the View scores button for the test.

You'll see this page.

Look at the "Number" column under the "Attempts" heading.
