Click on the Discussion icon. |

| To add to a discussion topic, click on the Compose
message button. |

Choose the topic you're responding to.
Type a subject.
Type a message.
(The subject and message fields are required.)
To attach a file to your discussion, click on the Browse...
button (to the right of the Attachments field.) |

| The "Choose File" box will open. Navigate to your
file, select it, and click on Open. |

| The location of your file is now in the
"Attachments" box. Click on the Attach file button. |
 |

Your file is now listed below the Attachments field.
Repeat these steps to attach multiple files.
Click onthe Post button to send your message and your
file(s) to the discussion board. |

You can also reply to a message in the discussion thread. A
discussion thread refers to all of the messages that are tied to the
original message.
In this example, I clicked on item no. 3 in this discussion
thread.
If you're having trouble viewing the discussion thread, try
clicking on the All, Threaded or Unthreaded buttons in
the gray Display bar. |

This is the message associated with reply no. 3. Click on the
Reply button to post a reply to this message. |

Note that when you reply to a message, the message you're
replying to is shown below the response area.
Click on the Post button to send your message to the
discussion board. |
