Film Review Index ( PN 1995 .M9 F513 1986) v. 1 & 2
This is a set of reference books that indexes movie reviews in various magazines from 1882-1985. Simply look up the title of the movie and you will find a list of citations to reviews. The SCC Library subscribes to some of the magazines, and we can request the others through Interlibrary Loan.
The New York Times Film Reviews ( PN 1995 .N4)
This set of books indexes film reviews that appeared in the New York Times from 1913-1968 with a gap from 1939-1948. The reviews are arranged by year, so you must first find out the year the movie was released before searching for reviews.
Finding Books on Film in the SCC Library
- Start with a keyword search in SCC's online catalog, Archway, or
- Click on one of the suggested subject headings below; you will be re-directed to the search results in the online catalog.

*DVDs and Videotapes have a three day checkout period. You may also use the DVD/ VCR players in the tutor rooms and study carrels on the second floor of the library.
