Finding Books on American History in the SCC Library

  • Start with a keyword search in SCC's online catalog, Archway, or
  • Click on one of the suggested subject headings below; you will be re-directed to the search results in the online catalog.
  • If you need to expand your search to libraries outside of SCC, search MOBIUS. Ask at the reference desk if you need help, or give us a call at 636-922-8620.
These five headings can be subdivided by dates. For example if the searcher is looking for economic conditions in the 1920's it would be best to enter United States – Economic conditions as a subject search and then look for the time period desired (which would be 1918-1945).   United States – Economic conditions
