10K Runners


Rain or shine, we run!
The 10K route is flat to rolling through rural Cottleville and unincorporated St. Charles County. The race is clearly marked, and you’ll find spotters along the way to make sure you’re headed in the right direction. Water stations will be provided around the 2-mile and 4-mile marks. (Please, no walkers.)

3-Mile Walk


Don’t run? Try our 3-mile fitness walk.
Walking is just as effective as running in maintaining health and fitness. Sign up with a friend and enjoy a brisk 3-mile walk on our campus. You’ll receive a ribbon, and you’ll be entered to win prizes! The 3-mile walk is not timed or scored.

1-Mile Fun Run


Take the school participation challenge for the MOST ENTRIES in 1-Mile Fun Run.
Each year, one grade school (K-5) and one middle school (Grades 6-8) each take home a HUGE traveling trophy and a $100 gift card for having the most students entered in the 1-Mile Fun Run. Congratulations to the 2009 school winners, Hollenbeck Middle School and Dardenne Elementary School, for having the most students entered in this run.

Permanent trophies will go to the first-, second- and third-place schools in each division. Students are also eligible for individual age group awards in the 1-Mile Fun Run. Be sure to name your elementary or middle school on the registration form.

Staging area: Red parking lot on SCC campus

Cost: $15 if postmarked by Tuesday, April 20. After April 20, entry fee will be $20, this includes race day entries. Please don’t mail registration after April 20. You can register online or in person!

Special family discount: $50 for a family of four, plus $5 for each additional family member if postmarked by Tuesday, April 20. Family discounts do not apply after April 20.

Packet pickup and late registration: Packet pickup and late registration will be 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, April 23, in the Administration Building at SCC. Race-day packet pickup and registration will be 6:30-7:15 a.m. (10K Race and 3-Mile Walk) and 7:30-8:45 a.m. (1-Mile Fun Run) in the Administration Building near the start/finish line.

Awards: An award ceremony will begin about 9:45 a.m. to announce the 10K results; 10:15 a.m. to announce 1-Mile results. The ceremony will be located in the outdoor amphitheater in the campus plaza. $100 cash prizes will be awarded to first overall men’s and women’s finishers in the 10K. Trophies and medals are awarded to age group winners in 10K and 1-Mile. Ribbons to finishers in 1-Mile Fun Run and 3-Mile Walk. $100 gift cards to winning K-5 and grade 6-8 schools.

Prizes: Pre-registered walk and run participants will automatically be entered into a prize drawing. Gift certificates, tickets, sports items and the like will be given away throughout the morning at the “Prize Central” tables at the Wellness Festival in the Student Center. Be sure to check at Prize Central to see if you won.
