Vladimir and Estragon, while waiting for someone called Godot, play out the circular patterns of man’s life: they eat, argue, make up, contemplate death, and meet/entertain others. The simplicity and circular nature of the play’s structure and character interactions reflect upon change, hope, the meaning of life and intellect vs. the non-rational; nothing is completed, and anything of substance is only found for our characters in the unity of time and place in which they exist together.
All Center Stage Theatre performances are in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building.
