Applying is easy! We have an open-admission policy, which means if you have a high school diploma or its equivalent, you’re in and we can’t wait to see you in the halls.
2023 Jazz Camp
This camp for middle and high school students features classes in jazz improvisation and ear training, as well as instrumental master classes. Big band rehearsals include rhythm sectionals and combos, and participants enjoy professional performances by the guest faculty each afternoon. June 11-16; Full Day Tuition-$399.
Graphic Design
Combining traditional art and design fundamentals with cutting-edge technology, the Graphic Design Program at SCC consists of comprehensive coursework that prepares students with foundation skill sets including interactive design, video editing, computer animation, print production and others. Different pathways in our program can prepare students for successful transfer to a four-year institution with an A.A. or A.F.A. degree in Graphic Design or the A.A.S. in Graphic Design can be the preparatory coursework for following the two-year degree career track. Coursework for all pathways in the program focus on the creation of an effective portfolio that illustrates ability as well as artistry.
