“SCC enriches our community,” is the first few words of the college’s Mission, and part of that vision is to be recognized for leadership in “community responsiveness.” There’s no doubt that SCC’s role in the community is important to the college, and responding to the educational needs of our community is one of its values.
Under About Us, you’ll find information on SCC’s academics, events on campus and college news. SCC offers customized training, unemployed worker services and continuing education (non-credit) courses through its division of Corporate and Community Development.
SCC has Partnerships all over the county, including the Business and Industry Program, Law Enforcement Training Academy, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Lindenwood University and Franklin University.
Federal and state grants such as the MoHealthWINs grant and the MoManufacturingWINs grant that was awarded to community colleges across the state and funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration, provide opportunities for students.
