Hello, Fall!

Celebrate this glorious season with us with these fun upcoming events!


Our final 2017 Food Truck Frolic and Outdoor Movie Night is tonight! Food trucks open in the Red Parking Lot at 5 p.m. and the film, Despicable Me 3, begins at sundown on the Technology Building lawn. For more information and a list of food trucks, visit www.foodtruckfrolic.com.

Can’t make it to the conclusion of the outdoor summer movie series? Check out SCC’s first annual Trunktoberfest from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, also held on the college’s Red Parking Lot. This fun, free Halloween event will have trick-or-treating, kid-friendly activities, food trucks and a Halloween-themed outdoor movie (Hocus Pocus!!) starting at sundown.

We also have some spooky plays at SCC this fall!

Center Stage Theatre will present Night of the Living Dead Sept. 27-Oct. 1, in the FAB theater. The play is appropriate for middle school aged students and above. The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Sept. 27-30; 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1. Tickets are free to SCC students with ID, or $8 general admission and $6 seniors, veterans and students.


Young People’s Theatre will perform You Ain’t Nothin’ but a Werewolf at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 14; and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, and Sunday, Oct. 15, in the FAB theater. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8233.

Other fun Halloween related events we will have on campus include Scary Movie Marathon, Halloween trivia, pumpkin carving and more. For a full list of upcoming events, be sure to check out stchas.edu/events.
