A Sign-ing of the Times

Thanks for stopping by our new blog! This will serve as a hub for information regarding One Academy Place as we gear up for the dedication ceremony in September.

At 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, we signed the closing papers for the property at One Academy Place. Later that afternoon, I was joined by Dr. Michael Shonrock of Lindenwood University, along with members of our Board of Trustees and Nursing and Allied Health faculty and staff, for a ceremonial signing. This marked the transition of ownership of the facility to St. Charles Community College and celebrated the friendship and collaboration between the two institutions.

At the same time SCC is gaining square-footage, students are gaining additional opportunities to reach their educational goals. We have big plans for the space, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds.

I wish to thank everyone who supported this cause and particularly want to recognized Mr. Todd Galbierz, Dr. John Bookstaver, Ms. Amy Koehler, and Ms. Amanda Sizemore.
