Presidents Classic Golf Scramble raises more than $46,000

The St. Charles Community College Foundation raised more than $46,000 at its 21st annual Presidents Classic Golf Scramble on Sept 25. Proceeds will support scholarships as well as academic and program enhancements for the college.

“Thank you for believing in education and making this a successful event for us,” said Betsy Schneider, executive director of the SCC Foundation. “Your support helps to keep high-quality education within reach for many in our community.”

Richard Jensen, CEO of Rx Systems, Inc., and Chuck Pilliod, CFO of Krey Distributing Company, were co-chairs of the planning committee for this year’s golf scramble. 

“We are thankful and encouraged by the tremendous support for the students from our sponsors, participants and community,” Pilliod said.

First State Bank and Rx Systems, Inc. were the “Eagle” sponsors. The “Birdie” sponsor was Botz, Deal & Company, P.C.“Par” sponsors included Acropolis Investment Management LLC, Al Wansing – State Farm, Ameristar, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals, Commerce Bank, Enterprise Bank & Trust, Mercy, Missouri General Insurance, Modern Business Interiors, NHC – National HealthCare Corporation, ServiceMASTER Restore, State Farm, UPS and Warrenton Oil.
