SCC to host Middle Eastern dance, dinner and performance on Sept. 6

Dinner and a Middle Eastern dance performance will be held in the auditorium of the Social Sciences Building. The performance will feature live Arabic music by Amina Goodyear, Husain Resan, Susu Pampanin and Jalal Takesh, with performances by professional dancers from around the Midwest.

Ranoush Restaurant will provide a buffet dinner of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine prior to the program at 6:30 p.m. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The cost is $10 to attend the performance and $35 to attend the performance and dinner.

Performers will offer Middle Eastern Dance workshops Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 6-7. For more information, visit bellydancewithnisaa.com. Prices are $65 per workshop session or $235 for all four.
