Published: 05/09/2013

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week was April 21-27, allowing communities to promote victims’ rights and honor crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.

The event’s guest speaker, Diane Brennan, was the mother of Dan, a 23 year-old boy who was killed in an attempted robbery in 2010.

In addition to SCC, event sponsors included St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Missouri Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, Missouri Department of Corrections, Division of Probation and Parole, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Tri-County Citizens Advisory Board to Probation and Parole.

St. Charles Community College is a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields.
