Seniors from Seven Area High Schools Sign with SCC Softball Team

Cougars’ head coach Kris Caldwell and assistant coach Jenn Beckmann welcomed Marquette senior Katelyn Bevins, Fox senior Rachel Krafft, Affton senior Tabatha McKnight, Francis Howell Central senior Tarah Moutray, Timberland senior Kaitlyn Raftery, St. Charles West senior Kaitlyn Tidwell and Troy Buchanan senior Rebecca Zalabacka in their recent visit to the SCC campus.
 
“I am really excited about every single one of the girls I have recruited,” Caldwell said.  “They all bring a special asset that this team will need in the fall.”
 
Caldwell and Beckmann will continue recruitment efforts during the summer for the 2010-11 season.  For team information, call the SCC Athletics Department at 636-922-8212. Other National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) sports at the college include men’s baseball, and men’s and women’s soccer.
