Hours: Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Mon 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

St. Charles Community College is seeking a full-time Enrollment Services Assistant to greet students and prospective students, answer incoming calls, and assist students with financial aid information. This position involves heavy customer service contact, working with students regarding financial aid and registration issues.

Other duties:

  • General customer service.
  • Data entry, including but not limited to high school transcript information, test scores, and demographic information.
  • Scanning, printing and mailing of various departmental correspondence.
  • Track data and prepare reports.
  • Express Registration – adding and dropping classes from students’ schedules.
  • Register students for non-credit Allied Health courses and Hiset testing.
  • Answer incoming calls for Enrollment Services. Retrieve voice mail messages and return phone calls.
  • Monitor general departmental email address and respond to messages.
  • Maintain student records and assist with record archiving.
  • Assist students and prospective students with general information about the college, assessment, registration and other areas of Enrollment Services.
  • Assist students and prospective students with basic information about the FAFSA and financial aid programs, accounts receivable balances and financial aid accounts.
  • Monitor and assist students using the student computers within Enrollment Services.
  • Departmental filing, photocopying, scanning and other projects as assigned.
  • Sort and route mail.
  • Maintain office machines and assist users.
  • Assist with the training of new staff.
  • Order publications and monitor display racks.
  • Daily download of admissions applications.
  • Monthly download of ACT scores and MOSIS information (Missouri Student Information System).
  • Assist with the planning of events – College Fair, Commencement Ceremony, FAFSA Frenzy.
  • Gather and update information for IRE.
  • Order and maintain supplies.
  • Assist with the preparation of schedule guides and transfer materials.
  • Create and maintain various databases.
  • Assist with the processing of financial aid applications during peak times.


High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum one year, relevant full-time experience with preference to previous experience in a college or education setting. Data entry and the ability to learn customized programs quickly. Customer service and general office experience required. Must be friendly, professional, and possess strong interpersonal and listening skills.
