AWS Welding Instructor - Contract Trainer II

Duties:

The St. Charles Community College Workforce Development Department is seeking a part-time, project-based Welding Instructor experienced in the area of AWS Welding. Must be familiar with:

  • Safety
  • GMAW
  • SMAW
  • Blueprint reading
  • NDT procedures

To perform instructional classroom and practical hands on training in the above topics. The right person will create and deliver training to comply with industry recognized welding procedures and AWS criteria.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of related experience as a Welder, Welding Instructor/Trainer in an industrial environment. AWS CWI certification desired but not required. Should possess strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of: Welding, Cutting and Fabrication, manufacturing. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others.
