Duties:

The St. Charles Community College Corporate & Community Development Department is seeking a part-time, project-based AEL Instructor. The class is located on the SCC campus in the Learning Resources Center. Candidate will be working with low level/literacy adults preparing them for high school equivalency. Candidate will also teach group lessons covering math, social studies, science and language.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and be eligible for AEL certification. This certification can be provided by SCC for the right candidate. Candidate should have experience teaching, with preferred experience teaching reading to adults.
