SCC to Offer Free Technology Sessions in April

Learn about cloud computing, Google apps and smartphones in free technology sessions offered by the St. Charles Community College Continuing Education Department in April. All classes will be held in Room 208 of the Technology Building on the SCC campus.

The following classes will be offered for free:

  • Cloud Computing, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4: Learn what cloud computing is and how it can make life easier.
  • Google Apps: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11: Discover popular web applications that can be used from any mobile device, including calendars, documents, email, blogs and more.
  • Smartphones: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18: Learn how to use email, contacts, calendars, the Internet and GPS on a smartphone to be connected anywhere, anytime.

Each of these sessions will serve as introduction to the subject, with more in-depth classes to follow in the fall.
