Center Stage Theatre to hold open auditions for ‘State Fair’ May 19-21    News

Center Stage Theatre will hold open vocal and acting auditions for “State Fair” at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, May 19-20, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the St. Charles Community College campus. Open dance auditions will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 21. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21. Read more.

Winners Announced in 23rd Annual Community College Run Events    News

The rain held out for some 743 runners and walkers who took part in a 10K, 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run, held on April 25 at St. Charles Community College. The events were part of the college’s 23rd annual That ‘80s Run that drew about 1,000 area residents for a morning of health, fitness and family recreation. The ‘80s theme brought out runners decked in spandex, leg warmers, tutus, neon and “big hair.” Read more.
