St. Charles Community College will host art exhibition Fantastical: Art of the Imagination in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibition will run from Aug. 25-Sept. 19 and is free and open to the public.
The exhibition artist reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Curated by Christine Holtz, this show includes works by both national and regional artists including James Carlson, Nick Francel, Kathy Gomric, Bob Hartzell, Rachel Hayes, Kit Keith, Justin Henry, Miller Elizabeth Parris, Mike Pennekamp, Lisa Sisley-Blinn and Deborah Wheeler.
“The exhibition features an unique collection of imagery and 3D creations,” said Christine Holtz, SCC gallery coordinator.
