St. Charles Community College is seeking comments from the public about the college in preparation for a periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The College will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit Nov. 7-9, 2011, by a team representing The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools; the Commission since 1987 has accredited St. Charles Community College. The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

The HLC/NCA Self-Study Communications Committee has used the following methods to promote awareness to faculty, staff and students about the Self-Study process, the planned HLC/NCA accreditation team visit and the importance of both in the process of earning re-accreditation.
